Sappe looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Johnston!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Johnston tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Johnston knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sappe on the ground.
Sappe trying to control the action but Johnston is working from the bottom.

Sappe has hold of Johnston's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Johnston tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sappe cranks the arm and Johnston screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Johnston, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
