The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ard dives in and scores a takedown into Sepultra's guard.
Sepultra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ard postures up.
Ard is pushing down on Sepultra's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sepultra is fighting to maintain full guard but Ard has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sepultra blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ard.
Sepultra wants to get back to his feet.
Ard is looking to advance position but Sepultra won't allow it.
Ard trying to control from half guard but Sepultra is working away.
Sepultra is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ard seems to be looking for submissions.
Sepultra is staying active underneath Ard, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sepultra tries to kick Ard off but Ard keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ard looks to land a strike but Sepultra avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Ard postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sepultra is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ard, into his guard.
Ard is striking from the bottom but Sepultra uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Ard is trying is best to control the position here.

Sepultra trying to control the action but Ard is working from the bottom.
Sepultra wants to stand but Ard has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Ard is not content to let Sepultra control the position.
Ard wants to improve his position but Sepultra is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ard wants to control but Sepultra is keeping busy.
Ard keeping hold of Sepultra's head, controlling as best he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Damien Sepultra hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sepultra closes the distance and clinches.

Ard tries to score a body lock takedown but Sepultra shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sepultra creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Sepultra.
Sepultra scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Sepultra works on Ard's body with a couple of short punches.
Sepultra lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Sepultra lands with a light punch inside.
Ard is rocked!
Ard blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Oh Ard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sepultra.
Sepultra misses with the head strike.
Ard tries to pull guard but Sepultra forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ard seems to have got his legs back now.
A right handed body shot lands from Sepultra.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ard is trying to pull guard but Sepultra has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Im Ard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sepultra lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Ard to his knees! Sepultra keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Damien Sepultra is the new heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Damien Sepultra thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
