Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, High Sodium!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker avoids the head kick by Sodium.
Tucker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sodium.
Sodium bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sodium displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tucker throws out the jab.
Sodium uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tucker.
Sodium jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tucker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tucker lands with an overhand left.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sodium.
Sodium misses with a low kick as Tucker jumps back.
Tucker misses the shot to the body.
Tucker misses the shot to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tucker enables Sodium to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tucker manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Tucker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sodium postures up in Tucker's guard and throws a big left but Tucker blocks it.
Sodium scoring with some ground and pound.
Sodium throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tucker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tucker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sodium postures up and lands a big shot to Tucker's brow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tucker throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sodium accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sodium working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tucker's head.
Sodium advances to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sodium is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tucker!

Tucker is working to get back to half guard.
Tucker tries to hold on but Sodium pushes him away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tucker is rocked!
Sodium loads up with a big shot that hurts Tucker! He's pulled Sodium in close but Sodium has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Tucker survive? More strikes from Sodium and Tucker is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). High Sodium!
