Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jona Jaimez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chief Tango!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaimez shoots in for a double leg but Tango sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tango throws a head kick that misses.
Jaimez throws a sloppy head kick and Tango moves out of range easily.

Jaimez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tango is looking to stand up but Jaimez isn't so interested in that idea.
Tango not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jona Jaimez.
Jaimez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tango defends it nicely.

Jaimez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tango's guard.

Tango working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jaimez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jaimez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jaimez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jaimez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
