Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.
Vargas throws a big shot that misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Vargas misses the target.
Ryan Vargas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vargas misses with a body shot.
Vargas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vargas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Vargas explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Smith gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vargas.

Vargas is looking to land body kicks.
Vargas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vargas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Vargas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vargas throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Vargas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Vargas.

Vargas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Vargas lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smith's sensitive parts.
Vargas's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vargas changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vargas. That's going to slow Smith down.

Smith walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Vargas misses the jab.
Vargas lands a right hook to the body.
Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vargas can pounce on him.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vargas.
Vargas scores with a jab to the body.
Smith is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Vargas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith avoids the head kick by Vargas.
Vargas lands a right hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vargas, right into the meat.

Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vargas.
