Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Everybody Knows as his entrance music. Doug Dillinger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Jones! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones staying out of range there. Dillinger drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.
Dillinger is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dillinger down to the mat. Dillinger avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dillinger slow jab from Jones misses its intended target. Dillinger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillinger is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Dillinger circles away and we're back to standing. A punch combination from Dillinger misses. Jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jones is keen to just control but Dillinger is a slippery customer. Dillinger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dillinger. Jones is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Dillinger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Dillinger looking to control.
Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dillinger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dillinger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dillinger tries to get out of the position. Jones prevents Dillinger from getting back to his feet. Jones pushing down on Dillinger's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Dillinger is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones wants to stand but Dillinger has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dillinger wants to control the action here but instead Jones manages to pass to full mount! Jones looking to control but Dillinger is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dillinger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jones wants to finish this one by submission but Dillinger is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jones. Jones stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Jones defending well as Dillinger loads up on a big left hand. Dillinger is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Good work by Dillinger as he checks the leg kick. Dillinger looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Dillinger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones fails with the takedown. Doug Dillinger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Jones. Dillinger tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Dillinger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes. Dillinger is breathing heavily. Dillinger tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dillinger tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Dillinger shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Dillinger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones is trying to keep Dillinger in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones has his foot on Dillinger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dillinger works his way back into a safe position though. Dillinger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones keeping full guard, as Dillinger tries to pass. Jones controlling Dillinger's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Jones dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dillinger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Doug Dillinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dillinger scores with a punch to the head. Dillinger misses with a takedown and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dillinger's guard. Jones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dillinger's head. Jones advances to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones wants to take a breather but Dillinger is having none of it. Jones works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillinger on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dillinger knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jones looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dillinger regains half guard. Jones tries to pass to full mount but Dillinger defends it. Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dillinger is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillinger wants to get back to full guard. Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Dillinger defends the submission attempt. Dillinger is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dillinger still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dillinger has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Dillinger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot. Dillinger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillinger fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dillinger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Dillinger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dillinger closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dillinger connects with a knee to the head.
Dillinger breaks the clinch.
A head kick misses from Dillinger. Dillinger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jones is rocked! Jones won't allow Dillinger to pass to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dillinger is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Alex Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dillinger will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jones passes Dillinger's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dillinger is looking to improve his position.
Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dillinger wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to control but Dillinger is keeping him busy. Dillinger trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dillinger is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee warns Dillinger that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dillinger is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dillinger hang on? A nice elbow there by Jones. Dillinger is trying desperately to improve position. Dillinger is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dillinger is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dillinger and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones works his way into side control. Jones stands up. Jones takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Doug Dillinger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dillinger throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dillinger tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
