The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Leonardo finds it's target.
Leonardo misses with a low kick.
Leonardo throws a leg kick that misses.
Silva scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Silva is putting a hurting on Leonardo here, landing some big shots from side control.
Leonardo regains half guard, as Silva was trying to land strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva is just content to waste time from the top position. Leonardo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Leonardo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rai Leonardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robson Silva.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leonardo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Leonardo finish him?!
Rai Leonardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonardo gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Leonardo manages to retain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Leonardo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Silva stands up over Leonardo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We're going to have a standup here because Rai Leonardo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leonardo, right into the meat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Leonardo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leonardo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily.
Silva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Leonardo.
Silva shoots for a takedown but Leonardo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Leonardo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A chopping leg kick lands by Leonardo.
Leonardo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rai Leonardo dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Leonardo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Silva if he has to take too many more of those.
Rai Leonardo is winning the standup battle so far.
Leonardo stuffs the takedown.
Silva with a poor takedown
and Leonardo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leonardo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leonardo cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Leonardo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
Silva is rocked!
It looks like Robson Silva has been cut.
Leonardo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Silva crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rai Leonardo!

Our winner, Rai Leonardo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
