Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank DuBont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman. DuBont has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DuBont takes the fight into the clinch.
DuBont breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
DuBont closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Silva quickly recovers to half guard.
Silva looking for submissions off his back.
DuBont not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

DuBont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

DuBont is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Silva manages to get to full guard.
Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
DuBont tries to stand but Silva is controlling from the bottom.

DuBont drives through with a takedown into Silva's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

DuBont has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! DuBont is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put DuBont to sleep! This one is all over!

Rodrigo Silva decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
