Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gryphon Andersoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jorge might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tropa de Elite. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andersoon was covering up waiting for the punch and Jorge finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jorge missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jorge accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jorge tries to free his leg and advance position but Andersoon is retaining full guard.
Jorge throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jorge works over Andersoon with some ground and pound from guard.
Jorge loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jorge passes Andersoon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Jorge has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jorge working over Andersoon with some ground and pound. Andersoon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Jorge wants to take a breather but Andersoon is having none of it.
Andersoon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jorge scores with a couple of nice shots.
Jorge is keen to just control but Andersoon is a slippery customer.
Andersoon trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Jorge manages to pass to mount!
Jorge in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Andersoon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Jorge landing strikes, looking to finish!
Jorge is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Andersoon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jorge lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Andersoon is rocked!
Jorge postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Andersoon bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Jorge and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiago Jorge!
