Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind. Kurosaki has chosen Machiavellism - Dir En Grey as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Dawkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyo Kurosaki! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawkins misses the shot to the body. Dawkins fails with a takedown attempt. Kurosaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kurosaki lands a nice looking body shot.
Dawkins misses with an uppercut. Kurosaki fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dawkins to the ground. Kurosaki is now in Dawkins's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Dawkins controls Kurosaki momentarily but Kurosaki frees himself. Kurosaki throwing strikes from guard but Dawkins blocks nicely. Kurosaki wants to get up but he can't break Dawkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kurosaki throws a strike but Dawkins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kurosaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dawkins is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawkins is stalling in the full guard. Kurosaki controlling Dawkins's posture. Dawkins looking to pass the guard. Dawkins works over Kurosaki with some ground and pound from guard.

Kyo Kurosaki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Dawkins throws a series of strikes that have Kurosaki backpedaling.
Kurosaki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kyo Kurosaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurosaki fails with the takedown and Dawkins counters with a single leg into guard. Kurosaki didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dawkins is pushing down on Kurosaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kurosaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Dawkins has managed to sneak the leg through. Dawkins controlling the action here. Dawkins not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kurosaki tries to roll over but Dawkins keeps him under control. Kurosaki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kurosaki avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dawkins. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawkins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kurosaki is not content to let Dawkins control the position. Dawkins stops Kurosaki from getting back to his feet.
Dawkins scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kurosaki is looking to control Dawkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kurosaki avoid being mounted? Dawkins prevents Kurosaki from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dawkins missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kurosaki slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kurosaki keeping moving, preventing Dawkins from controlling successfully.

Kurosaki has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Dawkins postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kurosaki has his hands on Dawkins's head, controlling the position. Dawkins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dawkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dawkins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sloppy strikes there by Dawkins. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurosaki keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kurosaki punishes Dawkins's body with a nice straight punch. A punch combination from Kurosaki misses. Kurosaki connects with the punch. Dawkins slips a jab and a cross from Kurosaki.

Dawkins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kurosaki. Dawkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kurosaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kurosaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dawkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A slow jab from Kurosaki misses its intended target. Kurosaki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dawkins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kurosaki scrambles back to his feet. Kurosaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dawkins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kurosaki avoids the body shot from Dawkins.
Kurosaki scores with a hook. Kurosaki pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kurosaki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dawkins was well out of range. Poor timing from Kurosaki. A looping hook to the body misses from Kurosaki. Dawkins does a little dance to reset his feet. Kyo Kurosaki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dawkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kurosaki tries to avoid it but Dawkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kurosaki to the ground. Kurosaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dawkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dawkins wants it to stay on the feet. Dawkins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kurosaki wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Kurosaki takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Kurosaki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Kurosaki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dawkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kurosaki.
Dawkins blocks a jab. A combination from Dawkins does no damage. Kurosaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dawkins circles away quickly and effectively. Kurosaki cracks Dawkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dawkins throws a hook to the side of Kurosaki's head but Kurosaki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dawkins moves out of range of the strikes. Kurosaki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dawkins. Dawkins circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Kurosaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kurosaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dawkins misses with a body shot.
Dawkins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Kurosaki throws a right and a left that both miss. Dawkins swings widly with a right hand
and Kurosaki counters with a two punch combo. A combination from Kurosaki does no damage. Dawkins scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kurosaki doesn't seem bothered though. Kurosaki is breathing heavily. Dawkins throws a body punch but Kurosaki moves out of range. Dawkins just misses with a punch to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dawkins cracks Kurosaki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Kyo Kurosaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That sent Kurosaki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kurosaki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dawkins. Dawkins slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosaki clobbers Dawkins with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dawkins walks into a straight right hand from Kurosaki. Dawkins jabs at Kurosaki's body. Dawkins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kurosaki.

Kurosaki tries for a takedown but Dawkins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kurosaki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dawkins scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Dawkins scores with a jab to the body. Donk. Kurosaki catches Dawkins right on the button with a cross. Kurosaki shoots in but no luck this time. Dawkins is looking to wear down Kurosaki with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Kurosaki swings for the body but Dawkins moves out of range.

Kurosaki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dawkins throws a jab when Kurosaki was well out of range. Kurosaki misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Kurosaki. Those never looked like landing. Dawkins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kurosaki tries to buck Dawkins off but Dawkins is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dawkins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dawkins taking a breather here. Dawkins working the head and body with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dawkins working the ground and pound. Dawkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dawkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kurosaki prevents Dawkins from improving position.
