Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinjo has chosen Theme of Sho as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe shoots and misses
and Shinjo counters with a leg kick.
Calzaghe tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Calzaghe closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Calzaghe lands in his opponent's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Calzaghe wants to control from the top but Shinjo keeps moving.
Shinjo wants to sweep but no luck.
Calzaghe passes Shinjo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shinjo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Calzaghe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shinjo.
Shinjo is nestled in close to Calzaghe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Calzaghe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Shinjo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Calzaghe is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shinjo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shinjo's back!

That's time! Calzaghe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Shinjo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Calzaghe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Shinjo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Calzaghe will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

The fighters circling - Shinjo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shinjo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Calzaghe has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nice straight punches there by Shinjo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shinjo.
