Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Dooalot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Hector Kilimanjaro!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilimanjaro throws a low kick but Dooalot moves out of range easily.
Dooalot keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dooalot circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kilimanjaro stalks Dooalot and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dooalot's face. Dooalot staggers backwards, shaken.
Dooalot connects with a solid leg kick.
A big right from Dooalot misses.
Dooalot getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Dooalot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kilimanjaro doesn't seem bothered though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kilimanjaro is defended easily by Dooalot.
Dooalot stuffs the takedown attempt from Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro gets slowly back to his feet.
James Dooalot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Kilimanjaro.
Dooalot tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dooalot takes one to the chin there.

Dooalot throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dooalot shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dooalot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dooalot wants it to stay on the feet.
Kilimanjaro throws a head kick but Dooalot moves out of range.
Dooalot avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kilimanjaro lands with a nice body punch.

and Dooalot counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Hector Kilimanjaro has been cut.
Kilimanjaro looks to score with a jab to the body but Dooalot is just out of range.
Hector Kilimanjaro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilimanjaro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kilimanjaro looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Dooalot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good leg kick by Kilimanjaro there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dooalot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilimanjaro was well out of range. Poor timing from Dooalot.
Kilimanjaro closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilimanjaro slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kilimanjaro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kilimanjaro is defended easily by Dooalot.
Kilimanjaro lands a right hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kilimanjaro. Dooalot does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kilimanjaro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Dooalot counters with a nice uppercut.

Kilimanjaro tries to clinch but Dooalot is having none of it.
Kilimanjaro takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A clash of legs there as Dooalot blocks the low kick.
Dooalot connects with a high kick.

Kilimanjaro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kilimanjaro is still on wobbly legs! Can Dooalot finish him?
Kilimanjaro takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dooalot keeps Kilimanjaro at a distance using the push kick.
Kilimanjaro looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dooalot connects with a body shot that sends Kilimanjaro's belly button to the back.
A head kick by Dooalot - that's a beauty! Kilimanjaro is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Dooalot can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). James Dooalot!
An out of breath James Dooalot thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
