Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marko has chosen Unstoppable-E.S. Posthumus as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Matrix!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cain Marko!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Matrix.
Marko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Matrix's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Matrix has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Marko after a bit of a struggle.

Marko lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
