Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Larkin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Jones! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Larkin's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Larkin wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Jones wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving. Larkin is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving. Jones looking to pass the guard. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Larkin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Paul Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Jones dodges the punch combination from Larkin.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Larkin.
Larkin lands a leg kick that knocks Jones off balance momentarily. Larkin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf. Larkin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Larkin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jones connects with a body shot that sends Larkin's belly button to the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice defenses there by Larkin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Larkin. Larkin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Larkin throws a leg kick but Jones moved away. Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Larkins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Larkin looks for the body kick but Jones saw that one coming. Jab by Jones. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Larkin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well. Larkin scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one. Larkin throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it. Larkin misses with a wild combination.
Jones fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larkin throws a push kick but Jones slaps the foot to one side. Good work by Jones as he checks the leg kick. Jones has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Jones there as he acknowledges the shot. Larkin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones. A thudding body kick lands there by Larkin!
Jones misses the jab. Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A head kick misses from Larkin. Larkin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones tests Larkin's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Larkin lands with a kick to the temple. Jones shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Paul Jones has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Larkin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Larkin loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch. Larkin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones. Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Larkin. Larkin throws a body kick that misses. Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones scores with a nice head shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Larkin is looking to land body kicks. Larkin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jones's calf. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Larkin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paul Jones's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Larkin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Larkin shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Larkin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts. Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. An inside leg kick from Larkin misses. Nice uppercut there from Jones. Larkin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Larkin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jones. Jones swings for the body but Larkin moves out of range.
Larkin looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Larkin wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Larkin is one step ahead there. Jones pulls Larkin in close to prevent any damage. Larkin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Larkin postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones controlling the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Larkin trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ryan Larkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larkin lands a body shot.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larkin manages to avoid it. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Larkin lands a front kick. Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Larkin cracks the inside of Jones's front leg. Larkin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones. Some wild striking there from Larkin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a series of punches but Larkin moves out of range. Larkin cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones is rocked! Larkin feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Jones collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
