Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lisha Sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by silver hawk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Studebaker Hawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lisha Sure!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawk throws the left hand but Sure avoids the punch easily.
Hawk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sure was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawk.

Hawk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sure is trying to defend but Hawk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sure is staying active underneath Hawk, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hawk is working for a submission of some sort.
Hawk stops Sure from getting back to his feet.

Hawk wants to work for an arm triangle but Sure is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Sure is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hawk is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Sure still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Sure has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Sure taking a break here but Hawk is having none of it and regains half guard.
Sure seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hawk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hawk has one foot on Sure's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Hawk closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sure's guard.
Sure trying to keep a closed guard but Hawk is proving a slippery customer.
Hawk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Hawk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sure dives on top into guard.

Hawk is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hawk manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sure pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hawk closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sure quickly recovers to half guard.

Sure actively working from the bottom here.
Hawk takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Hawk seems to be working for a kimura but Sure defends the submission attempt.
Hawk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sure's head.

Sure is looking to control Hawk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sure avoid being mounted?
Hawk throwing shots but Sure is blocking nicely.

Sure is defending against the submission attempts here by Hawk.

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Sure really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Studebaker Hawk dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
