Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pride Fc Theme Song. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Emelianenko manages to get back to half guard.
Roman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Emelianenko keeps working.
Roman is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Emelianenko throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Emelianenko wants to improve his position but Roman is controlling well.
Emelianenko works his way to full guard. Good work.
Emelianenko wants to sweep but no luck.
Roman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Emelianenko has his foot on Roman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roman works his way back into a safe position though.
Emelianenko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Emelianenko fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Roman is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Roman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Emelianenko is landing with some decent strikes but Roman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
