Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Samuels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samuels comes to the cage accompanied by Down with the sickness. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reggie Ray! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Samuels fails with a takedown attempt. Samuels misses with a right hand and Ray counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ray controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ray postures up.
Samuels wants to stand up but Ray is controlling him. Ray controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Samuels is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ray shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ray is taking a breather. Samuels says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Dean Samuels has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reggie Ray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Samuels scores with a one two! Ray had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
