Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karl Gustav!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jadyson Costa!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Costa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gustav wants to control but Costa postures up.
Costa wants to stand but Gustav is controlling his arm.

Costa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gustav rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Costa's guard! Nice work there by Gustav!
Gustav pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Costa is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Costa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gustav gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jadyson Costa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Costa lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gustav down.

Well Costa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
