The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moneymaker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Moneymaker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thiago is fending him off so far but Moneymaker persists. Nope, Thiago circles away and we're back to standing.
Thiago looks to land a right hand but Moneymaker moved out of range.
Moneymaker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thiago pinned against the cage. Thiago gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Moneymaker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thiago swats him away and circles back towards the center.

In his post fight interview, Fabricio Thiago started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
