Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Delgado Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Ash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manuel Delgado Villegas!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ash on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ash is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Villegas throws a lazy uppercut
and Ash counters with a stiff right hand.
Ash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Villegas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ash throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Villegas throws a jab but it's blocked by Ash.
Villegas throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Ash counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Villegas's guard now.
Ash looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Ash with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ash wants to control from the top but Villegas keeps moving.
Villegas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Adam Ash.

and Ash counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Villegas can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ash is putting a hurting on Villegas here, landing some big shots from side control.

Villegas is pushing Ash's head away, looking to escape. Ash manages to hold on to the position though.
Ash creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Villegas sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ash postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ash looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Villegas is avoiding damage well.
Ash misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
