Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradly Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Ford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bradly Danielson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ford takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Danielson works over Ford's head and body with a nice combination. Ford looks to land a left hand but Danielson moved out of range nicely. Ford throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ford misses with a wild body shot. Danielson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A big right from Danielson misses. Ford feints and as Danielson raises his hands in defense, Ford changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Danielson keeping moving, preventing Ford from controlling successfully. Danielson has momentary wrist control but Ford slips an elbow through the middle. Danielson wants to stand up but Ford is controlling him. Ford wants to control from the top but Danielson keeps moving. Ford working some strikes from top position. Danielson keeping moving, preventing Ford from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danielson wants to get back to his feet but Ford is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ford thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ford forces his way into half guard. Ford is trying to work for a kimura but Danielson is defending well.
Ford thows a huge punch but Danielson dodges it nicely.
Ford is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ford is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Danielson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ford is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ford seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Danielson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
