Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorin Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes to the cage accompanied by Return of the Mack . Odinson has chosen I will not bow (Breaking Benjamine) as his entrance music. Thorin Odinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thorin Odinson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! George lands a nice shot that snaps Odinson's head back.
Odinson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Odinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. George throws a big shot that misses. George misses with a two punch combination.
George dodges the punch combination from Odinson.
Odinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
George blocks the body kick.
Odinson throws a push kick but George slaps the foot to one side. George takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Odinson connects with a leg kick. George looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Odinson throws a body kick that misses. Odinson scores with a decent looking hook. George displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Odinson. George loads up on a big right hand but Odinson slips the punch. George misses with a double jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Odinson moves in looking to clinch but George pushes him off. Odinson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Odinson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as George throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Odinson is looking to clinch. George scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Thorin Odinson has been cut. Odinson has managed to clinch.
George avoids a wild elbow strike from Odinson. George goes for a takedown in the clinch but Odinson prevents it.
Odinson lands an elbow just above George 's eye.
It looks like Matthew George has been cut. Odinson stops a takedown attempt from George.
Odinson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but George has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
George goes for a takedown attempt but Odinson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew George. That's going to take a lot out of him. George throws a hook to the side of Odinson's head but Odinson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Odinson lands a really nice looking cross but George seems unphased.

Odinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Odinson connects with a solid leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Odinson throws a head kick that misses.

George throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Odinson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Odinson misses with a hook. George ducked under it nicely. Odinson throws a sloppy head kick and George moves out of range easily. George blocks a head kick by Odinson.
Odinson forces George back against the cage and clinches. George tries to score a body lock takedown but Odinson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. George is looking for a takedown. Odinson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
George avoids a wild elbow strike from Odinson. George gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. George tries to stand but can't do so whilst Odinson controls his leg. Odinson tries to kick George off but George keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Odinson can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Matthew George. George misses with a double jab.
Matthew George is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Odinson tries to close the distance and clinch but George swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Odinson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and George cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Odinson drives through and clinches with George against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice glancing elbow lands by Odinson. Odinson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from George.
George blocks the elbow strike.
George has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Odinson after a bit of a struggle. Odinson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Odinson missing with knees to the body.

Odinson gets underhooks to prevent George's takedown attempt.
George has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Odinson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Odinson is pressed up against the cage. George has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Odinson down to the mat. Odinson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. George takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Odinson's jab looks to have found its range, popping George under the eye. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Odinson misses with a head kick.
Odinson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. George takes one to the side of the head.
George throws a right hand that Odinson ducks under and follows up with a left that Odinson also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thorin Odinson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
George has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Odinson. George moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Odinson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. George swings for the body but Odinson moves out of range.

George lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Odinson at a distance.
George throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Odinson on the side of the head. George just misses with a punch to the body.
George avoids the head kick by Odinson.
Matthew George is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Odinson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Odinson walks into a left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice takedown defense from George. No joy for Odinson on that attempt. Odinson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. George scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Odinson throws a right hand that George ducks under and follows up with a left that George also avoids with ease. George lands a left and a right that send Odinson crashing to the mat, dazed. George thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Odinson is rocked! Odinson misses with a head kick.
Odinson is still on wobbly legs! Can George finish him? George goes for a small jab and connects. Now George goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Odinson stumbles back but George runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Odinson to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Odinson will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
