The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kustavilainen takes the fight into the clinch.
Gutierrez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kustavilainen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gutierrez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gutierrez has hold of Kustavilainen's hands but Kustavilainen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kustavilainen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gutierrez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kustavilainen is surviving well by controlling Gutierrez's body position as best he can.
Gutierrez has hold of Kustavilainen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kustavilainen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gutierrez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gutierrez has gone for a leg lock! Kustavilainen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gutierrez's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kustavilainen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kustavilainen rolls with it to try and escape but Gutierrez cranks on the arm and Kustavilainen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
