Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Ordenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Silva looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Ordenez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Silva!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ordenez gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Ordenez manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ordenez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Ordenez's legs - danger averted.
Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ordenez is looking to stand back up but Silva counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ordenez.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva is pressing down on Ordenez's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ordenez is holding on for now.
Ordenez is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.

Silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Ordenez is trying to stand.
Silva wants to stand but Ordenez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Silva is working for a submission of some sort.

Ordenez is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Silva is controlling the pace.
Silva is trying to control the action in half guard but Ordenez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ordenez defends it well.

Ordenez tries to kick Silva off but Silva keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Ordenez gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ordenez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Ordenez walks into a straight right hand from Silva.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Ordenez pushes him off.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ordenez prevents Silva from moving into mount.

Silva goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ordenez rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Silva's guard! Nice work there by Ordenez!

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ordenez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ordenez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ordenez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ordenez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ordenez!

Junior Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Silva winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
