0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Swarowski! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swarowski fails in his attempt to clinch. Saffedine checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Swarowski tries to clinch but Saffedine moves away and Saffedine counters with a nice double leg into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Saffedine is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Swarowski defends it well. Saffedine is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Swarowski tries to roll over but Saffedine keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Saffedine is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Swarowski has managed to free his arm - good work. Swarowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saffedine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Saffedine is working for a submission of some sort.
