Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Condit told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Condit!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butcher staying out of range there.
Condit ducks under a wild hook from Butcher.
Butcher throws a jab when Condit was well out of range.
Butcher thows a body shot but no joy.
Butcher looks to score with a jab to the body but Condit is just out of range.
Butcher misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Condit.
Dan Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butcher misses the shot to the body.
Butcher lands with a shot to the body.
Butcher lands a nice hook to Condit's body. Condit takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Condit drops his hands momentarily and Butcher takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Butcher works the jab nicely.
Butcher lands with an uppercut that bounces Condit off the cage and back into range.

Condit is still on wobbly legs! Can Butcher finish him?

Butcher throws a hook but Condit blocks it.
Butcher fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Condit seems to have recovered his senses.
Butcher works the jab nicely.
Butcher throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Condit showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Butcher.
The fight stays on the outside here - Condit looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Butcher feints and then cracks Condit's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Condit down.
Butcher feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Condit's calf.
Butcher throws a leg kick but Condit checks it.
Condit looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Condit slips a straight right by Butcher.
Butcher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Butcher bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Butcher gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Condit counters with a nice low kick that buckles Butcher's knee momentarily.
Condit blocks a leg kick.
Condit looks to land a body kick but Butcher moved away.
Butcher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Condit sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Condit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
An inside leg kick lands from Butcher.
Butcher moves out of range of the leg kick from Condit.
Butcher lands with a good body shot.
Butcher throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Condit on the side of the head.
Butcher missing with a left hand there. Condit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Butcher takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Condit walks into a stiff left hand from Butcher.
Butcher is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
A punch lands to the side of Condit 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Butcher throws a leg kick that misses.
Butcher connects with a solid leg kick.
Condit fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Butcher is out of range.

Butcher lands a left and a right that send Condit crashing to the mat, dazed. Butcher thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A lazy body kick from Condit
and Butcher scores with a counter punch that sends Condit to the canvas! Butcher smells blood - he's punishing Condit with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Condit has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
