The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Soto counters by clinching up.
Soto goes for a takedown in the clinch but Murray prevents it.
Murray successfully pulls guard.
Murray looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Soto throws a big right hand that misses.
Murray is trying to control the position but Soto postures up.
Soto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Murray is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Soto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Murray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
