Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jumbo Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen comes to the cage accompanied by Edguy - Ministry of Saints. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James McQueen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jumbo Tyson! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McQueen moves into the clinch. McQueen decides to pull guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. McQueen keeping moving, preventing Tyson from controlling successfully. McQueen is controlling Tyson's posture. Tyson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McQueen, up you get! Tyson throws a nice looking combination but McQueen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Horrible takedown by McQueen or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson which made him look bad. McQueen has managed to clinch.
McQueen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tyson's efforts to push away. McQueen digs a right hand underneath Tyson's ribcage. Tyson let out a lung full of air as it connected. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McQueen tightens his grip and picks Tyson up, before dumping him to the ground. Tyson manages to land in guard. McQueen stands up and waves to Tyson to follow him. Tyson throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson throws a series of punches but McQueen moves out of range. McQueen pushes Tyson up against the cage in a clinch. McQueen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tyson can't fight it off and eventually McQueen manages to take the fight to the floor. Tyson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. McQueen throws a big elbow that misses. McQueen stands and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control. You can see the frustration on Tyson's face as McQueen controls the position. McQueen working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McQueen misses with an attempted head punch from side control. McQueen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tyson defending against the ground and pound. Tyson tries to improve position but can't. McQueen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tyson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McQueen in side control, throwing shots but Tyson defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McQueen lands a decent elbow from side control. McQueen is looking to take a break and control but Tyson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McQueen working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
McQueen working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McQueen connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tyson some visible discomfort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by McQueen.
Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McQueen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McQueen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McQueen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McQueen stands up and we're back to a striking position. Tyson throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McQueen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tyson doesn't seem bothered though. McQueen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James McQueen dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It looks like Jumbo Tyson has been cut. Tyson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. McQueen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tyson can't fight it off and eventually McQueen manages to take the fight to the floor. Tyson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. McQueen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. McQueen passes Tyson's left leg - he's now in half guard. McQueen throwing shots but Tyson is blocking nicely.

McQueen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
James McQueen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tyson wants to control but McQueen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McQueen throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tyson to regain full guard. McQueen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McQueen throws a big right hand that misses. McQueen scores with a decent looking elbow strike. McQueen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McQueen forces his way into half guard. McQueen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. McQueen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyson's head. McQueen is pressing down on Tyson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tyson is holding on for now. McQueen controlling the action here.

Tyson taking some punishment here, with McQueen in his half guard. Tyson wants to sweep but McQueen has passed to side control! McQueen is trying to get an arm triangle but Tyson is defending well. McQueen cracks Tyson with a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. McQueen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James McQueen dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jumbo Tyson's cut. That's time! McQueen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
McQueen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McQueen wants it to stay on the feet. Tyson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like James McQueen has been cut. McQueen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyson but Tyson pushes him off and we're back to square one. McQueen forces Tyson back against the cage and clinches. The referee calls for McQueen to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tyson preventing the sweep. McQueen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McQueen has a closed guard, preventing Tyson from standing up. McQueen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! McQueen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tyson is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson trying to stand up but can't free himself from McQueen's guard. McQueen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McQueen wants to stand up but Tyson is controlling him. Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but McQueen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McQueen pulls Tyson in close to his closed guard and prevents Tyson from doing any damage or advancing position. Tyson preventing the sweep. Jumbo Tyson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson wants to control from the top but McQueen keeps moving. McQueen punching from the bottom. McQueen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. McQueen looking for a sweep. Not yet McQueen, not yet. Tyson trying to control but McQueen is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jumbo Tyson. McQueen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tyson slaps away a takedown attempt from McQueen, before circling back to the center of the mat. No joy there for Tyson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James McQueen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tyson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McQueen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. James McQueen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jumbo Tyson. McQueen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tyson. McQueen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tyson to the mat! Tyson manages to get full guard. McQueen is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. McQueen tries to free his leg and advance position but Tyson is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. James McQueen wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tyson misses with a few strikes there.
Tyson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tyson looks to throw a body kick and McQueen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. McQueen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQueen stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! James McQueen showed his dominance in that final round. Well McQueen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
