The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Will Rook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rook looks to score with a jab to the body but Lucas is just out of range.

Lucas takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rook takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rook throws a sloppy head kick and Lucas moves out of range easily.
Rook rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lucas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rook shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lucas as he avoids it easily.
A head kick by Rook misses
and Lucas counters with a head kick that drops Rook to the mat! Rook scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Rook is rocked!
Lucas lands an uppercut, right on the button! Rook tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Travis Lucas!
In his post fight interview, Travis Lucas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
