The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackett throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Eklund stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Sackett follows into mount!
It looks like Alexander Eklund has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sackett with shots to the head and body - Eklund looks very uncomfortable down there.

Sackett is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Eklund can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Eklund is still in real trouble! Can Sackett finish him?
Eklund takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sackett's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
