Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agilulfe Fragonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Cormier has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Cormier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Agilulfe Fragonard! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fragonard checks the leg kick. Cormier doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fragonard throws a jab but it's blocked by Cormier. Fragonard looks to land a right hand but Cormier moved out of range. Agilulfe Fragonard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cormier uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fragonard.
Fragonard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cormier manages to avoid it. Fragonard feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cormiers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cormier tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fragonard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cormier as he avoids it easily. Fragonard displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fragonard throws a jab when Cormier was well out of range. Fragonard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cormier was well out of range. Poor timing from Fragonard. Cormier closes the distance and clinches. Fragonard takes an elbow to the forehead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cormier lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Agilulfe Fragonard has been cut. Fragonard blocks an elbow strike. Cormier trying to control the position but instead, Fragonard has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cormier into the ropes. Fragonard's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cormier keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fragonard's efforts to push away. Fragonard is working for takedown but Cormier is calmly controlling the position for now. Cormier on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Fragonard takes an elbow to the temple. Cormier throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Daniel Cormier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Agilulfe Fragonard. Cormier comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The cut above Agilulfe Fragonard's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fragonard tries to stall but Cormier uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Cormier lands an elbow inside that Fragonard shrugs off. Cormier throws a head punch that misses. Cormier lands a vicious elbow to the side of Fragonard's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Cormier tries to finish him with strikes but Fragonard still seems able to defend himself so Cormier steps back and lets Fragonard get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Agilulfe Fragonard's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. This has been an exciting period of action! Fragonard circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fragonard misses with a takedown attempt - Cormier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cormier tries to clinch but Fragonard moves out of range. Fragonard swats away the attempt to clinch by Cormier. Cormier has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cormier lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Cormier working aggressively here.
