The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ukkonen loads up on a big right hand but Spirit slips the punch.
Spirit lands with a kick to the temple. Ukkonen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ukkonen takes a kick to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Spirit lands a big head kick that sends Ukkonen tumbling to the mat! Spirit takes a step backwards and waves Ukkonen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ukkonen is rocked!
Spirit misses with a jab, cross combination.
A nice leg kick lands there from Spirit.
Ukkonen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Spirit throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick from Spirit lands but Ukkonen takes it in his stride.
Spirit lands a nice looking body kick.
Nice uppercut there from Spirit.
Oh Ukkonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters circle momentarily. Ukkonen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ukkonen seems to have got his legs back now.

It looks like Dark Spirit has been cut.
Spirit throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ukkonen.
Ukkonen throws a lazy right hand but Spirit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A head kick misses from Spirit.
Spirit lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ukkonen misses the jab.
Ukkonen throws the left hand but Spirit avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Both fighters circling a little - Spirit finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Ukkonen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Spirit with a hook.
Spirit throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ukkonen.
Ukkonen throws an off balance right hand

and Spirit counters with a head kick that drops Ukkonen to the mat! Ukkonen scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ukkonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spirit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That kick from Spirit tenderised Ukkonen's leg. Ukkonen is trying to keep his angry face on.
A head kick misses from Spirit.
Spirit connects with an inside leg kick.
Spirit throws a head kick but Ukkonen moves out of range.
Ukkonen throws an overhand right that lands on Spirit's shoulder, as Spirit tries to avoid the shot.
Spirit tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ukkonen throws a lazy right hand but Spirit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ukkonen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ukkonen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ukkonen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ukkonen throws a right and a left that both miss.

Spirit is looking to slow Ukkonen down with leg kicks.
Spirit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ukkonen was well out of range. Poor timing from Spirit.
A slow jab from Spirit misses its intended target.
Spirit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A punch combination from Ukkonen misses.
Spirit pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ukkonen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Spirit can pounce on him.
Spirit throws a head kick that half lands.

Spirit throws a leg kick which misses Ukkonen's front leg but catches the back leg as Ukkonen tries to avoid it.
Spirit swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ukkonen counters with a left to the body.

Spirit goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ukkonen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ukkonen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ukkonen is breathing heavily.
Ukkonen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spirit manages to avoid it.
