Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolland Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomez is defended easily by Pierre.
Pierre throws a right and a left that Gomez avoids nicely.
Pierre ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gomez moves away.
Gomez dodges the punch combination from Pierre.
Pierre lands with a straight right. Gomez didn't see that one coming.
Takanori Gomez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierre misses with a body shot.
Pierre pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gomez back to the cage. Pierre follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Pierre gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pierre sees it coming and defends easily.
