Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mickey O Neil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antonio Santana!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana is looking to clinch but O Neil is avoiding it.

It looks like Mickey O Neil has been cut.

O Neil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santana paws at him with a jab and circles away.

O Neil jumps into guard, dragging Santana to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Santana seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but O Neil does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

O Neil is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

O Neil wants the takedown. Santana is fighting it off but O Neil persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Santana's guard against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Santana holds on and takes a little breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! O Neil's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


O Neil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santana's waist but Santana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing O Neil off to one side.
Santana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Santana closes the distance but O Neil moves to the side
letting O Neil counter with a right hand.
Santana tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. O Neil manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
O Neil keeps the fight on the outside.

Santana is looking to regain half guard here but O Neil keeps moving and retains side control.

Well Santana has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
