Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Baristron Krostiniguf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shumanov closes the distance and clinches.
Shumanov misses with a knee strike.
Krostiniguf taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Krostiniguf has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shumanov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Shumanov jumps guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shumanov is on top in guard.
Krostiniguf wants to sweep but no luck.
Shumanov postures up.
Krostiniguf looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shumanov is one step ahead there.

Shumanov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Krostiniguf's head.

Krostiniguf has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shumanov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Shumanov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krostiniguf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shumanov wriggles free and stands up.
Shumanov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Krostiniguf tries to clinch but Shumanov moves out of range.

Shumanov has Krostiniguf up against the cage in a clinch.
A body shot lands from Shumanov.
Shumanov gets control of Krostiniguf's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shumanov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Shumanov is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Shumanov is pressed up against the cage. Krostiniguf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shumanov down to the mat. Shumanov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Shumanov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krostiniguf looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shumanov slaps away a takedown attempt from Krostiniguf, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Shumanov moves into the clinch.

Shumanov stuffs the takedown attempt from Krostiniguf. Krostiniguf gets slowly back to his feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Krostiniguf enables Shumanov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Krostiniguf manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Shumanov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Krostiniguf regains full guard. Nicely done.
Krostiniguf is looking for a triangle here but Shumanov uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Shumanov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Krostiniguf down.
Shumanov lands a nice forearm strike.
Shumanov is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Krostiniguf's shoulder. That is not cool.

Shumanov wants to control but Krostiniguf is keeping him busy.
The referee asks Shumanov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Shumanov prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's time! Krostiniguf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Shumanov darts in and clinches Krostiniguf up against the cage.
Krostiniguf is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Shumanov to keep the fight standing.
Shumanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Krostiniguf pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Shumanov back to the cage. Krostiniguf follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Tarec Shumanov has been cut.
Krostiniguf shoots in for a double leg but Shumanov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Krostiniguf fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Shumanov slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Shumanov is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Krostiniguf knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Krostiniguf for a finish.

Well Shumanov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
