Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey The Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tsehov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsehov has chosen Ivan Rebroff - Cossack Patrol as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joey The Lion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Tsehov! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Lion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tsehov throws a nice inside leg kick. No luck for The Lion with that takedown attempt. The Lion is breathing heavily. Tsehov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Joey The Lion has been cut. Tsehov takes the fight into the clinch. Tsehov lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Tsehov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Lion shoots for a double leg takedown but Tsehov sprawls well. He's pushed The Lion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey The Lion. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Lion chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tsehov can pounce on him.
Tsehov has managed to clinch.

Tsehov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tsehov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tsehov rushes The Lion and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oh The Lion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tsehov is trying to break free. The Lion seems to have got his legs back now. Tsehov stalls. Tsehov lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Tsehov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tsehov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tsehov lands with a kick to the temple. The Lion shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tsehov throws a quick head kick that skims the top of The Lion's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsehov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tsehov decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Tsehov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tsehov moves into range and clinches up with The Lion. Tsehov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tsehov wants to get back to striking at distance but The Lion won't allow it.
The Lion pushes Tsehov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. The Lion on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The Lion pulls guard. The Lion being controlled here, momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tsehov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on The Lion, up you get!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsehov feints and as The Lion raises his hands in defense, Tsehov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The Lion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tsehov controls the pace. Tsehov stands up from The Lion's guard - Tsehov perhaps looking for a knockout. Tsehov pushes The Lion up against the cage in a clinch. Tsehov throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Lion blocks it with crossed arms. Tsehov landing knees to the head.
Tsehov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tsehov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The Lion with a poor takedown and Tsehov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Lion! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Tsehov prevents The Lion from getting the reversal. Tsehov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Lion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tsehov controlling the pace for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Tsehov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joey The Lion's cut. That's time! The Lion's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tsehov knocks The Lion to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!? The Lion manages to get back to half guard. The Lion looking for a kimura from the bottom but Tsehov passes into side control! Tsehov controlling from side mount. Tsehov decides to stand up, so the ref orders The Lion to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The Lion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tsehov's waist but Tsehov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing The Lion off to one side. Tsehov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Tsehov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A chopping leg kick lands by Tsehov. The Lion shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tsehov pinned against the cage. Tsehov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey The Lion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tsehov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The Lion is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tsehov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tsehov's back! The Lion sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Tsehov taps out!
