The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ninja preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ninja utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ninja has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jacobs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ninja looking for a guillotine here but Jacobs defends easily.
Jacobs tries to free his leg and advance position but Ninja is retaining full guard.
Ninja looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jacobs is one step ahead there.

Ninja escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jacobs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ninja bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jacobs's guard.

Jacobs controls Ninja momentarily but Ninja frees himself.
Jacobs is really struggling to control Ninja but he's trying to hold on to the position.
