Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kain Veldspar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Greene!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veldspar tries for a takedown but Greene sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Veldspar catches Greene with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kain Veldspar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Veldspar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Greene as Veldspar shoots in.

Greene works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Veldspar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Greene gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Greene is refusing to be controlled, as Veldspar sits in half guard.

Veldspar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Veldspar seems to be working for a kimura but Greene defends the submission attempt.

Greene tries to get to full guard but Veldspar has control of the leg.

Veldspar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Greene dives on top into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Greene decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Veldspar counters with a one-two to the body.
