Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agamemnon Coon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ima Yerface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yerface has chosen In Flames - Like You Better Dead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Agamemnon Coon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Coon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Yerface scores with a nice right hand.
Coon shoots in looking for a takedown. Yerface tries to sprawl out of it but Coon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yerface manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yerface throws a lazy right hand but Coon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Coon closes the distance and clinches up with Yerface, looking for a takedown. Coon pushes Yerface against the cage but Yerface circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Agamemnon Coon will probably get the nod.
