Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Langer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alan Langer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tommy Fire! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Langer! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fire fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Langer sprawls well initially but Fire persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Langer trying to hold on to Fire's head to control him but Fire postures up.
Fire is trying to control. Langer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Langer is looking to control Fire's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Langer avoid being mounted? Langer is trying to get back to full guard. Langer trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Langer sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Langer is trying to control but can't.
Langer is trying to get back to full guard. Fire seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Langer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fire is really struggling to control Langer but he's trying to hold on to the position. Langer wants to improve his position but Fire is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Langer wants to control but Fire is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fire decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Langer trying to hold on to Fire's head to control him but Fire postures up.
Fire missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Langer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fire's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fire's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fire trying to control the position but Langer manages to sink in the hooks. Fire rolls, trying to escape but Langer keeps control of the position.
Fire might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Langer throwing wild punches that miss their target. Langer is hanging on to Fire's back as he tries to escape.
Langer is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Fire won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Langer off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alan Langer! Alan Langer is the new lightweight champion!
