Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Casper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewdy Pewdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesse Casper had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Casper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dewdy Pewdy! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pewdy takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Pewdy fails with an attempt to clinch.
A combination from Casper does no damage. Pewdy is looking to clinch but Casper is avoiding it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Casper.
Casper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pewdy sprawls well initially but Casper persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Pewdy is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Casper pulls his head out easily. Casper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pewdy on the ground. Pewdy is looking to improve his position.
Pewdy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Pewdy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Casper. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casper decides to stand and escape the position. Casper clinches with his opponent.
Casper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Casper closes the distance and clinches. Pewdy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Casper pulls him back up using the underhooks. Casper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Casper breaks the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Pewdy. Pewdy misses with a takedown attempt and Casper counters with a nice body shot. Casper closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Casper lands in his opponent's guard. Pewdy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pewdy looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Casper trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pewdy's guard. Pewdy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Casper passes into side control.
Pewdy tries to bench press Casper off him but Casper keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Casper stands up. Casper has Pewdy up against the cage in a clinch.
A body shot lands from Casper.
Pewdy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jesse Casper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewdy Pewdy. Pewdy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Casper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Casper rushes Pewdy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Casper lands a left hand.
Pewdy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Casper just stands there and leans against the cage. Casper breaks the clinch.
Pewdy tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Casper counters with a thumping low kick. Casper swats away the attempt to clinch by Pewdy. Casper looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pewdy misses with a body shot.
Pewdy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pewdy with a lazy takedown attempt and Casper counters with a single leg into guard. Pewdy didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Casper wants to get up but he can't break Pewdy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pewdy has his foot on Casper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Casper works his way back into a safe position though. Casper decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pewdy, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Casper dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pewdy with a lazy takedown attempt and Casper holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pewdy jumps guard but Casper stands there with Pewdy around his waist. Pewdy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Casper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pewdy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pewdy lands a high kick!
Pewdy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pewdy tries to clinch but Casper moves away and Casper counters with a single leg into guard. Pewdy didn't expect that. Pewdy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Casper is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pewdy. Pewdy is trying to control Casper's posture but Casper avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Casper gets to mount! Pewdy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Pewdy wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Pewdy is really stuck here.
Pewdy turns into Casper and is now in his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Casper keeping moving, preventing Pewdy from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pewdy's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pewdy wants to control from the top but Casper keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Casper tries to clinch but Pewdy moves out of range. Pewdy tries to clinch up but Casper circles away and keeps his distance. Pewdy explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Casper throws a head kick but Pewdy moves out of range.
Pewdy shoots and misses and Casper counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pewdy! Jesse Casper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dewdy Pewdy. Pewdy is desperately trying to improve his position but Casper has a good base and remains in mount. Pewdy sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pewdy gets back to full guard.

Pewdy tries to reverse the position but Casper maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pewdy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Casper trying to control but Pewdy is having none of it. Pewdy is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pewdy sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Pewdy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pewdy is trying to maintain the position but Casper is very close to passing his half guard. Pewdy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pewdy. Pewdy controls Casper momentarily but Casper frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pewdy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Casper is one step ahead there. Pewdy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
