The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trent displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Van Der Houst.
Van Der Houst has managed to clinch.
Trent lands a nice shot to the body.
Trent lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Van Der Houst's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Van Der Houst goes for a takedown in the clinch but Trent prevents it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trent digs a right hand into Van Der Houst's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Van Der Houst's gas tank.
Van Der Houst is breathing heavily.
Trent lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Trent drops Van Der Houst onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Van Der Houst is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Van Der Houst is rocked!
Trent creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Van Der Houst out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrew Trent!
