Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manuel Lacalle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roy Alliet! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Alliet loads up on a big right hand but Lacalle slips the punch. Alliet doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Alliet throws a jab but it's blocked by Lacalle. Lacalle cracks Alliet with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Alliet walks into a left hand. Lacalle scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A swing and a miss from Lacalle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alliet looks to throw the jab but Lacalle is out of range. Lacalle pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Alliet back to the cage. Lacalle follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Lacalle looks to throw the jab but Alliet is out of range. Alliet darts in trying to clinch enabling Lacalle to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Alliet moves out of range as Lacalle strikes. Alliet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Lacalle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacalle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alliet moves away. Alliet misses with a looping right. Lacalle forces Alliet back against the cage and clinches. Lacalle throws a head punch that misses. Alliet tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Lacalle is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alliet just leaning against Lacalle, taking a breather. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Alliet misses with a hook to the ribs.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lacalle prevents a body shot from Alliet. Lacalle prevents a body shot from Alliet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lacalle misses with a hook from the clinch. Lacalle blocks a body shot from Alliet. Lacalle is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Alliet is keeping busy. A short body shot lands from Alliet as the two fighters clinch.
Alliet tries to throw a body punch but Lacalle avoids it by throwing Alliet back against the cage. Alliet blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacalle swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Alliet tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lacalle's elbow. Alliet dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Alliet is working Lacalle over against the cage. Alliet blocks an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lacalle's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Alliet prevents a body shot from Lacalle. Alliet taking a breather. Alliet tries to throw a body punch but Lacalle avoids it by throwing Alliet back against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Alliet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Lacalle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Alliet keeps the fight on the outside. A big left from Alliet misses. Lacalle misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lacalle throws a nice looking combination but Alliet bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Manuel Lacalle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alliet shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Lacalle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lacalle throws a good cross that connects.
A combination from Lacalle does no damage. Lacalle takes a swing at Alliet's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacalle throws a series of punches but Alliet avoids them all with ease. A telegraphed right hand from Lacalle misses the target. Nice defenses there by Alliet. Lacalle lands a jab to the head.
Alliet misses with a right hand and Lacalle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Alliet misses with a two punch combination.

and Alliet takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alliet misses with a hook
and Lacalle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Manuel Lacalle showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lacalle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Manuel Lacalle wins by unanimous decision! In his post fight interview, Manuel Lacalle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
