Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valentijn Sammens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sammens has chosen PRIDE FC - Opening as his entrance music. Brandon Walker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Valentijn Sammens!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sammens, pushing him back against the ropes.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Walker tries to circle away but Sammens has him pinned against the ropes.
Sammens tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walker's elbow.
Sammens jumps guard but Walker stands there with Sammens around his waist. Sammens gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sammens manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Sammens goes for an armbar but Walker turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Walker.
Walker wants to get up but he can't break Sammens's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sammens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walker manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Sammens feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Walkers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sammens shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the ropes. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It looks like Valentijn Sammens has been cut.

A telegraphed right hand from Sammens misses the target.
Sammens pushes Walker away with a front kick.
Walker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Walker there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sammens throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sammens looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well.
Sammens lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Walker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sammens.
Walker wants to clinch up but Sammens keeps it at a distance.

Walker lands a big uppercut and Sammens crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sammens looks OK. Walker waves Sammens back to his feet!

Sammens is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sammens moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sammens is still on wobbly legs! Can Walker finish him?

That kick from Sammens tenderised Walker's leg. Walker is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sammens seems to have recovered his senses.

and Walker counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Sammens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walker was well out of range. Poor timing from Sammens.

Walker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sammens stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Walker Throws a clean left jab. Walker Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Sammens's chin! Sammens crumbles to the ground and Walker follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Walker!

Brandon Walker decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
