Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lan Mandragoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lan Mandragoran told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lan Mandragoran!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mandragoran.
Mandragoran lands with an uppercut that bounces Burns off the cage and back into range.
It looks like Carl Burns has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mandragoran scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice shot by Burns.
Burns scores with a decent looking hook.
Burns thumps Mandragoran with a low kick.
Mandragoran throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily.
Mandragoran swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Burns misses with a low kick as Mandragoran jumps back.
Mandragoran connects with a single shot there.
Burns swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Burns throws a leg kick
and Mandragoran counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mandragoran bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mandragoran feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Burns sprawling to the canvas! Burns rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mandragoran finish him?!
Burns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mandragoran counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lan Mandragoran!
