Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasquale Kasserman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasserman has chosen Lit em Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Silas Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pasquale Kasserman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm misses with a low kick.
Kasserman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Storm shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Storm cracks the inside of Kasserman's front leg.
The fighters circling - Kasserman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kasserman throws a head kick that misses.
Storm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kasserman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kasserman throws a nice looking combination but Storm bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Storm connects with a solid leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Storm ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kasserman checks the leg kick.
Kasserman jabs Storm to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kasserman fails to land with a series of punches.
Storm throws a leg kick but Kasserman sees it coming and moves out of range.
Storm motions for Kasserman to come forward. Storm throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Storm gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Storm throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Storm throws an elbow but Kasserman slips to the side and avoids it well.
Storm working the ground and pound but Kasserman is defending the strikes.

Kasserman dodges the ground and pound from Storm.
Storm tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Storm fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Storm looks up at the clock and then as Kasserman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Storm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kasserman takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Storm is working Kasserman over with some ground and pound from side control.
Storm wants to control but Kasserman is keeping him busy.
Storm looks up at the clock and then as Kasserman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Storm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Storm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kasserman's head.
Storm throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Storm sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kasserman defending well though.
Storm is nestled in close to Kasserman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Storm not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Storm thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kasserman's head.
Storm works his way into full mount!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Storm fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Storm is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kasserman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Kasserman is rocked!
Storm loads up with a big shot that hurts Kasserman! He's pulled Storm in close but Storm has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Kasserman survive? More strikes from Storm and Kasserman is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Silas Storm!
In his post fight interview, Silas Storm started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
