The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro dodges the punch combination from Reckta.
Reckta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Castro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Castro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Reckta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Castro drops back looking for a leg! Reckta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reckta manages to kick Castro off! Castro jumps back into Reckta's guard.

Castro sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reckta's guard.
Castro wants to control but Reckta is keeping him busy.

Castro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reckta is just riding it out for now. Castro eventually gives up the hold.
