Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seany Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan comes to the cage accompanied by Mudshovel by Staind. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seany Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tiger gets caught flat footed, as Sullivan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sullivan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tiger wants to stand and escape but Sullivan is having none of it.

Sullivan stands up and waves to Tiger to follow him.
Sullivan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Sullivan shoots in and bounces Tiger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sullivan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sullivan tries to free his leg and advance position but Tiger is retaining full guard.
Tiger wants to stand and escape but Sullivan is having none of it.
Sullivan landing some decent shots from guard.
Tiger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sullivan throws and elbow that misses. Tiger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sullivan's guard. Nice move by Tiger!
Tiger would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sullivan throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Tiger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sullivan is proving hard to escape from.
Sullivan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sullivan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sullivan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tiger circles away.
Sullivan is breathing heavily.
Tiger stalks Sullivan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sullivan's face. Sullivan staggers backwards, shaken.
Sullivan looks for a takedown but Tiger sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seany Sullivan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tiger, right into the meat.
Tiger connects with a crisp jab.
Tiger works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sullivan shoots in but no luck this time.

Tiger closes the distance and clinches.
Tiger comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Tiger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tiger trying to stall but Sullivan improves his position.

Tiger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tiger scores with a jab to the body.
Tiger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sullivan backs up against the cage.
No joy there for Tiger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sullivan shoots in for a double leg but Tiger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tiger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sullivan.
Tiger throws a series of punches but Sullivan moves out of range.
Tiger misses with a few strikes there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sullivan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sullivan landing some decent shots from guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sullivan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tiger works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sullivan is in close to Tiger's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown by Sullivan or perhaps it was just good defense by Tiger which made him look bad.
Sullivan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tiger's waist but Tiger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sullivan off to one side.

Sullivan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tiger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sullivan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tiger misses with the combination.
Tiger throws a nice looking combination but Sullivan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sullivan lands with a nice combination. Tiger backs away looking to recover.

Tiger moves into range and clinches up with Sullivan.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nice defenses there by Sullivan.

Sullivan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sullivan pushes down on Tiger's leg and manages to get into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Seany Sullivan will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sullivan.
Tiger avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sullivan.
Tiger takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tiger dodges the ground and pound from Sullivan.
Sullivan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Sullivan tries to move into full mount but can't pass Tiger's legs.
Tiger wants to get back to his feet.
Sullivan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Tiger dodges the ground and pound from Sullivan.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tiger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tiger misses with a combination
and Sullivan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tiger dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sullivan. That did some damage!

Sullivan shoots in but no luck this time.
Tiger feints and then cracks Sullivan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sullivan down.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tiger throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sullivan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sullivan won't allow Tiger to get back to his feet.
Sullivan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tiger's head.

Sullivan pushes down on Tiger's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Sullivan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Sullivan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tiger's head.
Tiger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sullivan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sullivan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sullivan is pressing down on Tiger's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tiger is holding on for now.
Tiger pushes Sullivan off looking to stand but Sullivan dives back in and keeps control.

That's time! Sullivan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Sullivan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sullivan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sullivan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tiger suckers Sullivan into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Tiger is now in Sullivan's guard!

Tiger wants to stand but Sullivan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Sullivan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sullivan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sullivan tries to get out of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Sullivan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tiger's guard.

Seany Sullivan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sullivan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
