![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tua tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moyo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tua somewhat.
Moyo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tua! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Moyo working the head with strikes. Moyo lands a nice forearm strike. Moyo looks up at the clock and then as Tua takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moyo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Moyo landing strikes. Tua tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moyo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moyo lands a decent elbow from side control.

Tua is rocked!
Moyo has hold of Tua's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Tua seems comfortable defending it but Moyo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Tua is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Tua is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Moyo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tapsumaneyi Moyo! After winning the bout, Tapsumaneyi Moyo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
