Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zack Allan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Bunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allan comes to the cage accompanied by Total War. Bunn has chosen Go to Sleep - Eminem as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Allan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Bunn!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allan scores with a kick to the body.
Allan throws a hook to the side of Bunn's head but Bunn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Allan walks into a jab.
Bunn lands a head shot.
Bunn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab from Allan misses.
Allan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bunn lands with a hook. Allan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A solid body kick from Bunn.
Allan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Allan moves forwards but Bunn connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bunn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Allan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Bunn tries to land a front kick but Allan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bunn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Allan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

so Bunn counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Allan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Allan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bunn defends it well.
Bunn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bunn.

Bunn is working an open guard so Allan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Good exchange - Bunn coming out on top.
Bunn throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Bunn moves away from the strike by Allan.
Zack Allan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bunn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bunn looks to land a body kick but Allan moved away.
Allan tries to land a front kick but Bunn steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bunn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A close round but Gary Bunn will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Allan pushes Bunn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Allan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bunn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Allan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Allan digs a right hand underneath Bunn's ribcage. Bunn let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bunn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Allan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bunn manages to avoid it.

A close third round but Gary Bunn just about did enough to take it.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Allan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Allan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bunn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Allan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bunn manages to get himself to full guard.
Allan wants to stand but Bunn is controlling his posture from full guard.

Allan throws an elbow that misses. Bunn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Allan's guard. Nice move by Bunn!
Bunn chips away with some ground and pound.
Allan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bunn controls the pace.
Bunn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bunn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bunn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Allan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bunn escapes and throws Allan's legs to the side, diving into side control!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Allan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

I've got Bunn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
